Can salt eliminate aflatoxin? Can detergent kill aflatoxin?

Video content:

Aflatoxin is a toxin secreted by Aspergillus flavus. Through general disinfection methods, it can effectively kill Aspergillus flavus. But even if the Aspergillus flavus is killed, the toxicity of aflatoxin cannot be reduced.

The properties of aflatoxin are very stable and cannot be destroyed by normal methods. Table salt has no destructive effect on aflatoxin, and detergent can not destroy aflatoxin. Both of them only have a certain inhibitory effect on the growth of Aspergillus flavus.

Aflatoxin can only be destroyed under conditions such as high temperature above 268 degrees, strong alkaline environment, and ultraviolet radiation. Therefore, if the food is moldy, there is no effective way to disinfect it and it can only be discarded. If the tableware is moldy, it can be soaked in alkaline disinfectant, cleaned and exposed to the sun, and then placed in a dry environment or a disinfection cabinet.
